The Week That Was

The B.C. tourism industry is set to receive $9.3 million over a two-year period through the Tourism Recovery Initiatives Action Plan.

Legislation has been introduced to further protect wildlife habitats by amending the Protected Areas of British Columbia Act to expand protected areas by a combined total of 350 hectares.

B.C. agriculture and food sectors raised a combined total of more than $16 billion in 2020, a 3.3 per cent increase from the previous record of $15.6 billion in 2019.
