Alex is CSG’s public affairs intern based in our Calgary office. As a natural wordsmith blessed with the gift of gab, she’s built a professional career in writing and communications.

Before joining CSG, Alex developed her strong understanding of digital marketing, having worked as a copywriter at an Alberta-based marketing agency. In this role, she used her curious mind and love for storytelling to craft compelling website copy and blogs while thriving in handling social media management for clients across various sectors. During her academic studies, Alex was the Arts and Entertainment writer for SAIT’s student-run newspaper, the Emery Weal. Additionally, she brings direct experience in media, having interned with Edmonton’s trendy lifestyle publication, Avenue Magazine.

Alex has a Print and Online Journalism diploma from SAIT and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Calgary. Besides writing and reading, she enjoys camping, swimming, yoga, and knitting in her free time.
