Harrison brings more than a decade of senior experience in governments across Canada, helping navigate complex policy environments and understand how decision making works. Before joining the team at CSG, Harrison served as Legislative and Policy Director at Second Street where he led national conversations on policy and healthcare reform. His interest in healthcare stems from his time serving as the Deputy Director of Government Communications in Alberta during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Harrison has led province-wide communications and campaigns, managed inter-ministerial and multi-jurisdictional teams, and supported executive communications at the highest level, in both political and corporate settings. His experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, advocacy and policy strategies give him a well-rounded background which he utilizes to assist clients and deliver results.

Having worked as a senior staff member at every level of government in Canada, there are a number of files which have shaped Harrison’s expertise, including the strategic rollout of the largest education reform in Ontario in 30 years and Alberta’s Recovery Plan.

Born and raised in Calgary, Harrison is a proud fifth-generation Albertan, who you can find on mountainsides, trails, and some of Edmonton’s best restaurants when he isn’t hard at work.
